Grizz/Kings Postgame Vote
Despite Allen Iverson season debut as a Grizzly, the team surrender to the Kings in OT 133-123. The lack of defense and TOs' were the culprits that led to the Grizzlies downfall. Also can somebody tell the bench to do better and step up on the court. The offensive production has been anything but so far in these four games.

Not to be nitpicky but I think you posted the Denver score. Anyways, I agree that the bench needs to step up and help the starters. Even though he's looked good for where he was drafted, Demarre Carroll is a rookie and has alot to learn. It's pretty hard to expect him to be the super sixth man for both forward positions, although I hope that's exactly what he eventually turns into.
I didn't expect Iverson to be on top of his game yet but he was quoted after the game of feeling like his normal self and was upset at his playing time. I don't have a problem with playing Gasol lots but Thabeet, Haddadi, and Hunter need to come in and be physical and not worry about fouls or scoring.
Looking at the boxscore it showed that besides Iverson no one did much off the bench. No matter how good the individual stats are for the starters they won't win too many games without the bench contributing. Remember during the offseason when we talked about a couple of tough veterans for bench depth?

oh the bench is NOT doing anything.... GOOD THING WE SENT MIKE TAYLOR DOWN THE RIVER.
the franchise deserves every loss they get when they make only the worst decisions they could possibly make time and time again
