Phoenix Suns (4-1) @ Boston Celtics (6-0) 7:30pm

Post#1 » by DrFunk » Fri Nov 6, 2009 4:47 pm

Hmm didn't see a game thread, and i can't make fancy sigs from work sorry. Figured I'd start it up (mods can replace this if a someone can make a better one).

This will be a great test for the Suns, I know they'll show up motivated to play against a potentially NBA finals team, we'll know where we stand a lot more after tonight. Go Suns!!

So this is going to suck. I think Coro said we haven't won in Boston ever since Nash came here in 04/05...and we've gotten pasted over the last two years. If we win it will be HISTORIC.

If we make our shots we have a good chance tonight.

My bad, last time we won was in 04 right after Nash came back.

No LB tonight. I'm okay with that because this is a game we will most likely lose anyways so he might as well get more rest and time to heal. To be honest guys, after our performances in Boston the last 2 years I will consider it a moral victory if we can keep it to losing by less than 10 :). However, this is one of the best benches we have had. If our starters take care of the offense early and our bench helps limit the C's then you never know what could happen. Anything is possible! Go SUNS!!!

Boston fan here. Who has a better game tongiht Rondo or Nash? I like watching these two going head to head.

i say rondo takes the game early, but nash puts the suns on his shoulders at the end of the game and does some pretty impressive 4th quarter work. this is, obviously, in speculation that it isn't a complete blowout at that point.

I can;t help hoping ... the Celts looked pretty standard-issue against the Wolves. They've got some internal troubles - Big Baby, Rondo not being much loved. I think we could steal one if we run like mad bastards and play some decent defense. You know, by PHX standards. Like don't just step out of the way of someone driving the lane ...

I'm really impressed by our improvement in that area so far - Stat, Collins, JRich, the Wonder Twins Lou and Duds. Lots of communication, lots of effort. This team is no longer embarrassing on defense.

Yeah the Celtics can't go 82-0 they have to lose eventually so maybe tonight is the night.

I don't expect them to win...but at least improve on defense and bench production....

Our favorite site has it, but it has been so choppy lately, that I am just hoping it works.

I havent been able to log in for the past 5 months, or receive email to change my password, I just realized a few days ago that I could email an admin about it.

So here I am now, ready to drink away any losses we may suffer this season.

Homer. Amaretotheline.
Split loyalties here for me. It would be nice for us to win but it would be awesome for my C's to go 7-0. I think My C's defense will shut down some of my Suns offense. :D

I know I will get hated on for this.
