Listen,
I don't want to make any excuses for losing two in a row to young athletic teams, but we are tied for most games played this season. 4 games more than Milwaukee in only three weeks. We are basically averaging 4 games per week.
Over the next 16 days we only play 5 games which will give this team a lot of time to rest and heal any banged up nagging injuries we may have.
I sense some slight panic on the board but haven't seen anyone bring this counterpoint up so I just wanted to throw that out there. They have had a very physically demanding schedule to start the year including 5 games from the 1st-7th.

Re: Blame the Schedule
I wanted to blame the schedule, but we had a decent break before that game against the Hawks. I believed it as an excuse for why we lost steam and that one game against Phoenix, but not the past two.

If we were having this "swoon" at mid-season, your post would be appropriate. But they just had the whole summer off. The whole season and playoffs are in front of them. Two years ago in the first season of the big 3, this would not have happened. Something has changed.
Maybe they are just "older" as Tommy said. Maybe they don't have the same drive since they have all won a championship. I don't really know. But I'm confident this wouldn't have happened at the beginning of the season 2 years ago, schedule or no schedule.

who cares. We've lost what 3 games. The only losses that I really feel are worth discussion more than the day after are losses to top tier teams.

Really?
I can handle it if we are beaten by a top tier team....and we are competative....and I get the feeling should we meet them in the post season we could beat them...
Now if we loose to a lowly team, a team we should beat....then that neads a convo......
Reckon u've got it round about....

Every loss matters to some extent but I think it's especially relevant if we'll be seeing that team in the playoffs. PHO and IND not so much but, ATL is a game worth talking about.
