Do volleyball players jump higher than basketball players?

Rumor has it, Leonel Marshall, a volleyball player, has a 50" vertical!! I think the "norm" for volleyball players is about a 330 cm touch, which is 11feet.

Chase Budinger was a volleyball player and has a pretty sick vert. They work on their jump more because it's a bigger part of their game than it is in basketball, so it wouldn't surprise me if they jumped higher on average.

Yea, i remember Rafa Pascual, a former spanish player, reached almost 360 cm.
Not so surprising, almost every average high jump athlete could dunk from the FT line also if he has hands big enough to catch the ball well.

I don't mean on average per roster, I mean on average for a play that requires jumping like dunking/blocking vs. blocking/hitting. Does Lebron James jump higher on a power dunk than a volleyball player on a power hit for example.

In a semi-related question: Is it easier to hit a spike at full jump height or finish a dunk at full jump height?

If Joe Alexander remains a free agent next season, he should switch over to volleyball. He could easily become the volleyball GOAT.
