The article may indicate AI's potential retirement. Does AI really want to retire? Considering how good of a player he is and how he left two teams on bad terms. Including us. It's no way AI will just retire. I suspect he will be back with a playoff contender between now and March coming up. Problem is that too many teams are scared to sign him to their squad due to the ego side affects he will have in the locker room.

Re: AI to retire?
AI didn't retire. This move was to spare himself the embarrassment of nobody wanting him. This way, if he's retired and nobody wants him, well - then he's retired. If a contender, or heck, anyone with a checkbook and the want to let him start, comes after him he unretires. This is all about The Quitter's ego. Nothing else.
