OT: Going to Nets game on 12/28, need some advice

Post#1 » by WadeKnicks2010 » Sun Dec 6, 2009 4:58 am

I'm coming up from NYC by car, how long should I give myself from the time my car is in the vicinity of the stadium and the game starting. From where I live it should take about an hour and a half to get to the stadium, how long will it take me to find a parking spot, and get my butt in my seat? Anything special I should know? Do I need like a parking pass or anything? How far is the parking lot from the arena?

How far? Depends on how early you get there, deck 23 is like a hundred yards away, but either way, you'll be fine finding a spot, don't worry about that. It's 12 bucks.

Cool. I'm in Section 121.. No idea what deck number that is. Man your tickets are so cheap, only thing I"m envious about of you Nets fans. Even with the gas, crossing the tunnel, and parking I'm still saving money compared to section 100s in MSG. I was most concerned about the parking, btw, thanks a lot. 12 bucks is pretty cheap actually too. You think getting to the stadium about 30-45 minutes before tip off is prudent? I'd rather be early than late so I can get food and check out the cheerleaders. Is there anything else I should know?

Deck 23 is a section of parking. 30-45 minutes is more than enough time. Honestly, it's pretty simple. It's one of the few things that is good about the Izod: it's a hassle getting there, but once you do, it's pretty cut and dry.
