I would trade Koufos for a souvlaki at this point.

Fesenko on the other hand has shown some promise. I'd prefer to keep him.

Is Kosta this bad? I thought he played well for you last year, he's just turned 20.

Kofous has as much upside as Fesenko. I don't get why people are throwing him under the bus this season after drooling all over his cock last season. Hell, I don't even like the guy and I think you guys are being hard on him.

Both the back up centers in one deal? No.

His 3.2 career scoring average isn't enough, no. Hollins has no upside. Two prospects do. I wouldn't trade either of them alone for Hollins.

I didn't notice the pick, but still not worth rocking the boat for it.

I still hold onto Koufos. He's a project, he was when we drafted him, and considering he's less than 60 played games into his career and only 20 years old, I'm not worried that he hasn't had many break out games yet. He's huge, has good athleticism, and can play the game. Even with how lost he has looked at times, he can still come in games and put up 5/5 in 10 minutes or so.

Hold onto him, he doesn't cost anything, and he still has a ton of potential.

I wouldn't mind trading Kosta to Minny for the rights to the draft pick back, but definitely not both players. And even then, I'm still wondering if Kosta isn't going to be better than whatever the pick might be.

This. I didn't watch most games though. Is there something spesifically bad about him?

With Jazz's history of draft picks and where that pick will be... Kosta is better than that pick.

Is there something specifically good about him? I'll admit I've missed a lot of his appearances, but from what I have seen, including pre-season this year, I haven't been the least bit impressed.

It's hard for fans to judge prospects that get little time effectively. We can't see practice when they are integrated into a play. Garbage time is sloppy as all the players playing are second or third tier.

He can run the floor, he has exceptional length, has a 9'0 standing reach, and a 12'3.5'' jumping reach which gives him a 30+ inch verticle.

Size and athleticsm like that is hard to come by, and with the fact that he graduated from Highschool a year ago June, it's easy to see that he's not anywhere near a finished project.

He needs time still, but at times he's already showed a glimpse of what he's capable of.

My big problem with Kofous is simply that he's not a banger. He's does a piss poor job of boxing out and his man defense is terrible. He looks like he'll be one hell of a help defender though. He's an intriguing prospect. From everything I've heard he has a good attitude and is a hard worker, pair that with his athleticism and the sky is the limit.

I think age is probably the biggest factor in his soft game. He's never had to play against people this big in his life, and I think as he grows stronger, which he is doing he'll be more willing to go down low and mix it up.

With that said I'm not sure being a banger is as important today as it was in years past. Even the premier bigs in todays game are mostly finesse guys, and his rebounding has really improved since he was in college.

From what i ve seen from him last summer, he really needs to work on his man to man D. Great blocker, and maybe right now is the best that Utah has aside from AK. He got much bigger than he was, i saw lots of progress on his left hand, and as always showed some great scoring from 15-20 feet, and some jump hooks as well.

He will never a be an Ostertag type of banger, but from the other side he can score. Also looks like a very smart kid. Problem is that his idol is Dirk, so from what i understand he is a PF on a C's body.

Anyway considering the truck of the injuries on the big men, and the probable Boozer trade, he will have the chance to play some good minutes and see how better he got

I thought he looked like he belonged on the floor last year. This year he just looks befuddled.

I don't understand teh regression. Some guys just wilt under Sloan. Maybe he's one of them.

Hopefully he'll turn things around.

I think it's the fact that since his freshman year of college his schedule went like this.

Started College Season in November 2007
Ended College in March of 2008
Starts NBA preperation March - June of 2008
Drafted June of 2008
Summer League July of 2008
2 months of downtime to prepare for NBA season
First NBA Training Camp October 2008
NBA Season 2008 through April 2009
Greek National Team Summer of 2009
Preparation for Summer League June 2009
Injury July 2009
Summer Break August 2009
Preperation for Training Camp September 2009
Training Camp October 2009
NBA season Starts Novemer 2009

Seriously, over the past two years he's had maybe 2-3 months away from Basketball from where he graduated High School to playing for the Greek National Team to Playing in two Seasons of the NBA, half in the D-Leage, plus dealing with an Injury.

The kid just looks tired to me.
