I don't know about tie breakers but they are only a game out of the wild card.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I got sad when I read the first sentence then happy when I read the second sentence.

They are pretty low in terms of AFC conf. record. They need a lot of help even if they win out

Re: Week 15 Lead-Up: Steelers Week
I'm wondering if the Steelers are better or worse than the Bears. If they are worse, we can play the same lackluster game we did against the Bears and still win. If they are better, there is no way we are winning with last weeks effort.
I think we should win this game. I feel like this is possibly our last test of the year, although if Arizona still hasn't clinched, that will be a game. The Steelers are beaten down right now and they are primed to bust out of this funk if it truly is a funk they are in. Perhaps they just suck, though I am not sure why that would be, they have mostly the same personnel that won the Super Bowl. Maybe Troy P. is just that good...

Why are the 5 loss streak Steelers favored over the 5 win steak Packers?

The location.
Vegas usually gives the home team three points and right now the line is at either -1 or 0.

Steelers have been playing in some close games, and Heinz is a big homefield advantage. Make no mistakes about it, this will be a very tough game.

The Packers are really good at have impressive numbers but not looking impressive.
This is the least impressive 5-0 run I've seen in a while. Also, the 26-0 game was the least impressive blowout I've seen in a while.

Packers clinch spot with win and help
By Greg A. Bedard of the Journal Sentinel
Dec. 15, 2009 10:02 a.m.
According to the NFL, the Green Bay Packers can clinch a playoff berth this week if:
The Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday AND
* Either the Dallas Cowboys lose vs. New Orleans (Sat., 7:20 p.m.);
OR
* The New York Giants lose OR tie vs. Washington (Mon., 7:30 p.m.)
Or if the Packers tie the Steelers, they need the Giants to lose.
So if the Cowboys lose to the undefeated Saints on Saturday night, the Packers will take to Heinz Field on Sunday afternoon knowing a win gets them in.

I don't know the exact numbers, but commentators said after they lost to the Browns that they'd pretty much have to win out and have everyone else lose out to make the playoffs. And in the post-game interviews, IIRC Hines Ward basically said the season was over.
They're playing for pride, which isn't anything little for the Steelers, but I think the playoff hopes are realistically over.

Re: Week 15 Lead-Up: Steelers Week
Wednesday practiice report:
CB Brandon Underwood (hip) and LB Nick Barnett (knee) did not practice. Neither injury should be much to worry about. With Barnett coming off ACL surgery, they are always going to be cautious with him. Underwood was cleared to re-enter Sunday's victory over the Chicago Bears.
Brandon Chillar worked alongside A.J. Hawk with Barnett out.
CB Charles Woodson (shoulder) and DE Johnny Jolly (knee) left after jogthroughs.
DL Ryan Pickett went through jogthroughs and then did a pretty intense rehab workout. He looked very good and spry. Big man has very quick feet.
LB Jeremy Thompson (neck) is still out.
WR Greg Jennings needed a bunch of stretching to get his knee ready, but he seemed fine in practice.
K Mason Crosby did a lot of fundamental work with special teams coordinator Shawn Slocum. Not sure if that's unusual because they usually kick outside. Today they were inside. And, yes, he also did a lot of work from the right hash.
Coach Mike McCarthy and defensive coordinator Dom Capers had a long discussion during the special teams period.
Packers signed CB D.J. Clark (6-1, 200) to the practice squad. Started four years at Idaho State. Went undrafted by lasted all of training camp with the Carolina Panthers before getting cut.

Do you disagree with me? They are still a team that is undisciplined, suspect line, no special teams, and a coach that likes to throw red flags randomly. Yes, they had some impressive victories, but most of these games having me relieved they didn't blow it. The team just hasn't put it together yet.
It's not necessarily bad, if this team can when by making so many mistakes it make you wonder how good they can be.
