Trade Idea: Bos/Philly

Post#1 » by hiphop1 » Sat Dec 19, 2009 1:07 am

Boston Incoming
Andre Igudala
Elton Brand

Philly Incoming
Ray Allen
Brian Scalabrine
Tony Allen
Future First

For Boston they get a young replacement for Ray who fits in on d and o. But take on Brands huge contract to play on the bench. Brand does make our bench awsome but is a BIG salary hit.

For Philly they clear up an ENORMUS amount of salary to totally have a clean slate to rebuild and pickup a future first.

No chance in hell.

Iggy is still young, they're rebuilding with him not without him. Philly gets pounded in this deal.

I don't know what's wrong with Brand, but I don't think Philly wants to unload him to a division rival - Iguodala would make our defense sicker, but he's not a shooter like Ray.

The only contract they're desperate to move is Dalembert's..

Iguodala and Thaddeus ultimately probably aren't perfect as a tandem so this trade is more likely given that factor. But still, very very slim chance since we rape them in this deal.

I don't see how we do this without Louis Williams and the Liberty Bell.

Seriously what the hell is the deal with bringing Brand off the bench? I know it hasn't been perfect but damn the dude is Elton Brand and you suck. They keep starting that toots Dalembert and he couldn't suck enough. Flip it should be Brand and Speights for as may mins as they can stand for.
