Juan Francisco is expandable as the reds have singed Rolen for the long term. Last year his numbers were impressive and he just has raw power. 25 HR's is crazy good. However he does strike out alot, but his average in the majors was pretty decent. Check out the article:

Here are his numbers through his pro career:

His stats are very impressive but his K rate is very high, but he could be had for any of our pitching prospects. What do u guise think ?>

It's not his average that's the problem, it's the fact that he steadfastly refuses to take a walk...Arencibia had a higher walk rate than him last year, which is saying something. That's not to say that I don't like Francisco, but while you say "any of our pitching prospects", the reality is probably closer to "Cecil, and Cecil only".
And while Francisco has a terrific arm and a good bat, he commits so many errors (35 in 272 chances last year, which is absurd) that it's likely that he ends up as no one's third baseman.

Yeah exactly his plate discipline, but his power is absolutely phenominal, u might remember a guy by the name of Adam Line who had a problem with walks, but i'm not sure i would want to give up cecil. Arencibia was on track then i don't know what happened he just went from a sure thing to a disaster.

Lind never had that kind of a problem with walks coming up through the system, though...in the minors, his OBP was 64 points above his BA and he had a K/BB ratio under 2:1, which isn't bad at all. In the majors, it was ~40 points before exploding last year.
Contrast that with Francisco: 30 points above, which is atrocious, and a K/BB of over 6:1. He could be quite good, but I would be very wary of trading top pitching talent for a guy who might end up as a pray-and-hack outfielder.

Not sure how he fits. He's a minor upgrade over Edwin Encarnacion right now in my opinion. Is it really worth giving up one of our pitching prospects for him at this point?

A tiny bit (just because of his tendency to leave pitches up), but my thought was largely that he's the only of our starters that a team like Cincy would covet enough to trade Francisco...possibly Romero, as well.
