Wafer failed physical and Rockets signed Mike Harris

NBA sources told FOX 26 Sports the Houston Rockets plans to re-sign free agent guard Von Wafer fell through when Wafer did not pass his physical Tuesday night.

Sources told FOX 26 the Rockets may re-visit Wafer's situation soon.

With Wafer no longer an option the Rockets signed forward Michael Harris from the team's NBA Development league affiliate, the Rio Grande Vipers.

Ehhh... I like both of em. I would have liked to see Von with this uptempo team. Mike should not be getting many minutes at all. JUST PLAY MCGRADY !!!!! HE WRECKED SHOP TONIGHT !!!!!!

How do you fail a physical in the nba? wow that sucks. Maybe Von was out of shape, we should of given him more time to do the physical. But at least we have another big body in mike harris now. Hopefully Jermaine taylor transforms into Wafer.

Having Von back would've helped in the absence of Chase...but we've done fine without him this season. Hope he does find a place in the NBA though.

I remember Mike Harris during the streak, good energy off the bench.

But surprised Wafer failed his physical, another McCants signing.

He did pretty well considering this is his first real attempt at PT. Distributed the ball well played good defense, attacked the basket without getting out of control and he didn't look lost on offense or defense I don't know what you expect from him..

Von WAS a selfish player you don't remember up until the playoff he was slashing and actually passing which surprised many of us.

well i dont expect the world from him, but some people r comparing him to dwayne wade so when i heard that i was expecting much much more

he made a couple of good plays which is a couple more than hes done all season. We'll see his progression. The guy is a project tho. But players under adelman usually improve, except brian cook.

von wafer is seeing regular to starter minutes compare to harris. 0-5 mpg. last season.. mike wouldnt have any PT anyways, so this signing is an epic fail!

Wow. Adelman must REALLY hate McGrady. He's willing to play any scrub in the league over the GOAT.
