Brand for Landry??? Help!

Post#1 » by bennnnnooo » Wed Dec 30, 2009 3:08 pm

I have Brand and was just offered Landry for him.
I can really use Landry's percentages but Brands potential/play of late has me thinking long and hard about this one. Perhaps with his bench role he's able to exploit the opposing teams' 2nd units.

Thoughts on this trade?

No, there's no tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime!!

I'm playin.

The way I see it, you could gamble on Brand finding consistency at some point this year, or take Landry's pts, boards, FG% and FT% and bank them now. Even if Brand gets it going and keeps it going, the only real advantage he'll have over Landry is blocks. That's not enough upside to pass on the sure thing.

I've been trying to obtain Landry in all leagues all season long. No such luck despite his no name status.

I guess the guy may think Houston will trade TMac and receive a big player as part of the deal. Therefore reducing Landry's playing time/production.

So it's a gamble either way.

Unless Houston gets say... a Chris Bosh type talent, Landry's stat should remain consistent. Landry is a foolproof fantasy player.
