OT: Gabe Pruitt on "Bad Girls Club"

It's fair to say Gabe Pruitt didn't distinguish himself as a member of the Celtics, and he isn't winning many fans with his boorish behavior on "Bad Girls Club." Pruitt, whom the Celts wisely cut before the season, appeared on this week's episode and was even more obnoxious, if that's possible, than the stars of the show. "Bad Girls Club," which airs on Oxygen, is about seven shrill sirens who live - and squabble - in a sprawling LA mansion. This week, the nattering Natalie took the rest of the gals to a party hosted by Pruitt at an LA club. (Natalie describes her pal as "Gabe from the Celtics" even though he doesn't play for them anymore.) As soon as the ladies arrive at the club, Pruitt begins hitting on Natalie, murmuring such sweet nothings as "I want you (expletive) naked" and "I want to (expletive) you." Ah, isn't he sweet? Believe it or not, Natalie is charmed by the baller and takes him home. When they get there, Pruitt promptly wakes up Natalie's roommate and kicks her out because he wants to get busy. Said one commenter on the Oygen web site: "I can't believe (Natalie) let that lame-ass dude talk to her like that. She has no self respect at all."

Pruitt should watch Kenny Anderson's Scared Straight video. A video by a former NBA player who teaches young players the dangers of certain females who prey on foolish professional players. They're nothing more than opportunists, and these players like Pruitt will learn the hard way. It doesn't pay to be stupid even if Pruitt initiated the action. Because if she gets pregnant... Oops. I pulled a Shawn Kemp or Travis Henry. Or insert your own professional athlete's name who was guilty of a publicized indiscretion.

my step-dad (may he rip) once gave me some sound advice when i was younger. he said get it while you can, because there'll come a day when you wish you had. pruitt is young, rich (for all his crapiness he made more money from the C's than i will make this decade at least), and decently good looking. go on wit yo bad self, bro.

Well, who really cares? I mean is this what society has come to? I find it funny that people are talking about how "skanky" the girl is or whatever, but few talk about how he talks to her. He sounds like a real gentlemen. Sad, sad stuff.

Other than everything that came out of Gabe's mouth at the club, the best part was when the girls were waiting for him to arrive and they were talking about him like he was some kind of NBA star, and how the girl could spend the rest of her life courtside at the Celtics games.
