Rev Takes a Vacation

Post#1 » by Klomp » Mon Jan 11, 2010 3:59 am

Similar to the last couple weeks before the draft, rev knows some things about things that he cannot share. To prevent compromising any information or being put in a bad situation, he is going to be taking a bit of a break from the boards for awhile.

I will still be around the boards keeping things running smoothly, and NO-KG-AI will I'm sure pop in every once in a while to check on things to. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Guess that means a huge trade is going down after all. Oh man...

Is this going to be like the draft when we pry and pry and pry until Rev gives us just enough info. that we pretty much can figure everything out?

Congrats Klomp, it's like Daddy left Mommy to watch the kids for awhile. Not refering to you a a women, just making a bad joke :D . I'll stay behaved, as long as these AL rumors don't encourage other teams to start ripping us off left and right. I thought we'd have a few years after the KG saga where we wouldn't have to deal with this junk.

Breakdown, the reason I requested the leave of absence is so I do not give out info. It is too tempting. I enjoy talking and speculating and I know you guys do too.

See you in late Feb.

Uh oh. Now that our defenses are at their weakest, the ridiculous homers from other boards will pick this moment to blitzkrieg us with awful trade proposals.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Man, if what they've already been doing isn't considered blitzkrieging, it might be a time for a break for all of us.

You must have missed the last time Rev took a vacation. First we had a massive blue&orange troll epidemic following the draft. Once Rev came back and cleared them out we were invaded by the worst troll of them all. I am not even going to mention his name because he probably googles his name combined with "realgm" everynight.

A clue!!!
Deadline deal anyone? Im assuming we are calling every team offering up Gomes+Sessions+one of Pek/Al/Rubio/Love(in that order) for at least two great pieces/one great piece and a chance for a top tier FA.

I understand Rev. I also wouldn't want your inside source to doubt your secret keeping abilities. The speculating and GMing is the fun part anyway.

P.S. - I know this is crazy, but what if Kahn decides to move Al and Love combined for two more PGs?

Atleast we'll know he's consistent.

YES! Any post with a Troll 2 reference gets an A+ in my book. On topic, hopefully if a trade goes down we won't all be saying, "OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDD!" and then pee on our lunches.

So what was the last rumor that made Rev take a vacation? The hints Rev gave left seemed to be trading the 5th and 6th picks in the draft to move up and take Thabeet.

Other way around. It's like mom left and dad's in charge and doesn't have a clue how to run the house. Klomp is Mr. Mom. He's screwed.

Never fear, I'm here. Not that I can do anything, but if you need a hug, I can rent you one of my fine ladies of the night to keep you warm, safe, and mildly content.

good idea. People with inside info turn into 2pac on these boards. People wonder if they mean something else by what they meant directly. "DID HE REALLY KNOW HE WAS GOING TO DIE!? " "WILL THE WORLD END IN 2012? OMG HE MEANS YES BLAAAAA"

I'm not following, are you trying to say that rev's actually been e-ssassinated by TKF? Do we have to retaliate?
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''
