Corey Maggette + Wilson Chandler for Troy Murphy + Dahntay

Hey guys, just got offered this trade in a 16 team league. standard 9 cats minus TOs but added FGM.

I would be the one giving up Maggette and Chandler
Some background info:
This league is HIGHLY competitive and really deep. 16 teams, all of which are highly active. I'm currently in 6th place with a record of 59-47-2.
Here's my current team as well:
PG - Jason Kidd
SG - Dwayne Wade
G - Luke Ridnour
SF - Corey Maggette
PF - Josh Smith
F - Wilson Chandler
C - Mehmet Okur
Util - Al Thornton
Util - Jason Kidd
Util - Ben Gordon
BN - Tayshaun Prince
BN - JJ Redick
My gut feeling is to accept the offer, as Troy Murphy is easily the biggest fantasy name involved. However, Dahntay Jones is hardly worth keeping due to his inconsistency. On the other hand, Wilson Chandler just came off a very solid month and Maggette has been absolutely on FIRE. I could really use some advice, what do you guys think?

Tough call.

As you said, Wilson and Maggette have been playing very very well of late.

Murphy is the best of the bunch and has that all important C-eligibility, which you seem to be lacking.

Maybe try get more than just Dahntay Jones, who is not worthy of a spot.

I just traded for Troy but only had to give up Jamal Crawford

... the only thing that worries me is a trade to elsewhere... even so you're giving up a lot of value I'd keep Maggz and Chandler. Even though I think Chandler will die down I can see Maggette keeping up a slight lesser torrid pace... there's no reason for him to slow down with the injury riddled team he plays for... Guy should continue to be a 20 ppg player with solid fg% and ft%. To throw onto that in a league where ftm matters I'd keep Chandler + Maggz.

I like the trade.

When you get a chance to sell high on a Warriors player... DO IT.

Don Nelson is likely to send Maggette to the bench next month because the guy is mental, then Maggette's value drops significantly (ie. Morrow).

You could try and get a better player than Dahntay, but if not, still fall back on this one and pull the trigger.
