The Difference Maker

Marquis Daniels!

Since he got injured, we've been losing even to sub .500 teams!

We need him asap!

Plus we need to sign or trade for a vet!

Yeah, TA has played better than Daniels this year, so no.

I'm so sick of these half assed injury excuses. What, Rondo, Pierce, Ray Allen, Perk, Rasheed all suck? Did we not win a championship with Eddie, TA, Glen Davis and Scal on the bench? Hell we played .681 ball when KG went down last year. With Glen Davis and Scal starting, no less.

This team has just been sleepwalking, they look disinterested and Paul Pierce lately looks like the only guy who even wants to be on the court.

This team is in for a rude awakening if they think they're just going to hit a button and turn it on come April. They have played ONE game TOTAL all season where they didn't suffer at least one lapse of concentration and effort for some portion of those 48 minutes. When people were saying that this team was going to run into what the Pistons did with complacency after their title, I just laughed. Not this team, no way......Well, that's exactly what has happened.

Just remember, once we're at full health, no one is going to be allowed to blame injuries anymore. This team better start ramping their $h]+ up after the AS break. At this rate they're going to get steamrolled in the 2nd round if KG doesn't come back and play like an all-star, because the rest of this team looks like a bunch of schmucks right now.

Indeed Scal, if we start playing better, I'll feel better. I don't care if we win or lose these games, but when the team looks so lethargic and apathetic it just pisses me off. Most of us talk how this is the regular season and these games don't matter, just get healthy for the playoffs......except the last month or two of the regular season does matter for continuity sake and the playoffs will be here sooner than people think. It' almost February and in the blink of an eye it will be April.

One thing is certain in my eyes, a trade is absolutely essential this year. The bench as currently constituted will kill us. Daniels is not going to come back and make a huge impact. This team would absoultely destroy any team in the league if we surrounded Rondo with a few more young, athletic players. That may not happen this year but should be the goal moving forward.

Dude, I started a thread on this and was labeled a bandwagoner.

if 1 week after the All-Star game these guys are still playing the same way then only with a miracle they could win a championship.

I hated the OB days and now I am hating these last few games even more.

Considering our age and the rash of injuries....I wonder if we'll ever be at full health for more than a few weeks when talking about our Big Four vets and a few of supplemental players.

I'm hoping, but my science side of the brain gives me small odds. :o
