Malware warning

Post#1 » by Wilford Brimley » Wed Jan 20, 2010 2:37 pm

While browsing the General NBA Forum at work, my page went to one of those fake "your computer may have Malware, running a scan now" type pages, where it shows you a fake desktop pretending to run a scan. It wouldn't let me go back to the General NBA Forum unless I completely x'ed out the window.

This is the first time this has happened to me at work or at home, and I thought I would bring it to your attention.

I'd do a malware/virus scan ASAP. I got that before and it ended up really going haywire with my work laptop. See viewtopic.php?f=40&t=974259

This has become a common virus across the entire web and wasn't something you received from RealGM.
