GM Simulation League

Post#1 » by wizkid27 » Fri Jan 29, 2010 5:29 am

hey guys... I'm usually pretty conservative on the advertising polices here at RealGm, but thought you may be interested in this league. I've been a member for several years. It's basically a complete GM league using all of the NBA's salary-cap rules and a simulation engine to determine the outcome of games. Currently it is using NBA Live, but we're looking towards using NBA 2k10 the next season. It is an extremely realistic and challenging league which requires scouting of players well into the future and extreme thought into every transaction. Think of it as fantasy basketball extreme! I wouldn't talk about it on here if I didn't think that it had some relevance to nearly ever brilliant poster on this board and no benefit to myself personally. I would honestly recommend it to every user on RealGM because it literally gives each person to be the master of his own real franchise in a very competitive environment. If you ever thought that you could hack it on your own, please go to this site and sign up... again... I get no benefit from this, just that this great league continues with some amazing GMs!

There are actually a few open teams right now to choose from (we're drumming up some interest due to the vacancies). So no waiting list as of now and you could start right away.

The only "wait" is that there is a 3 week probation period in which you can't make any trades. This is generally so that the new GMs can familiarize themselves with the rules and how everything works before anybody tries to rip them off.
