How do the C's solve their pathetic bench production?

Let's face it we are going to ride our our starting unit and IF KG get's healthy they are still pretty darn good unit for sure. What can Ainge do to solve the anemic bench woes. Baby breaking his hand screwed them pretty damn bad considering he was coming off a solid playoffs and had that little J of his. Now he is out of shape and can't shoot. Sheed is hit or miss, I think we can all agree on that. House forgot how to shoot and Quis is still injured. Tony Allen is playing pretty well for the minutes he's getting. It's crazy. I was thinking this morning how much old man Grant Hill would be helping us right now if we landed him. Anyway. What can they do? IMO this current roster is incapable of winning the chip.

When Daniels comes back, put Ray Allen on the bench and let him be the designated chucker. Bench House for good.

When Daniels comes back, he won't be handling the ball though. He will catch and shoot, and that's when he is at his best.

From everything I've been reading about T-Mac it seems as though the longer we go, the less likely he's traded. It may not be the most realistic option but if he was bought out and signed w us @ a veteran contract, I think it would solve a lot of our scoring issues. Very slim chance this actually happens but it would be nice.

Other than that, I think Shelden should be getting more minutes. We're always getting bamboozled on the boards, we need to play some bigger lineups if we have the guys available to do it.

Also, the loss of Daniels, IMO has been a little underrated. He should help us upon arrival. Hopefully he gets the nod before the all star break

interesting idea. even though TA is only our third best shooting guard I would think about starting him instead. Tony Allen, in his rookie and sophomore years, played great as a starter. I like your idea of making Ray, instead of House, the designated chucker but if we had a 1-2-3 of House-Ray-MD backing up Rondo-TA-PP then our ball handling on the second unit is much improved from what it is now, thus allowing House to continue to chuck. Moving Ray to the 6th man role might be the most extreme move we're able to make while still being sensitive to chemistry issues and so forth. I would try it and I think Ray, being the good guy he is, would be alright with it if it actually helped the team.

Davis needs to get some touches and/or confidence.

I'm not sure why Doc refuses to give Sheldon some time.

House has not been as good this year as last.

Overall though ... we seriously need some offense from the bench.

Actually I think T-Mac would be one of the more plausible options. I doubt he gets traded, and I think he'd be a very likely buyout candidate, since he's upset about not playing.

^ he also played his best basketball under Doc. Boston certainly is one place where he could improve his market value. However a team like Cleveland or the Spurs could offer him a starting spot whereas Boston probably would not.
