Danilo Gallinari's defense

Post#1 » by Fury » Sun Feb 21, 2010 3:50 am

I think he deserves major credit. He didn't take many shots but his defense on Durant was very good. If he had been on Durant on that last possession, I'm sure he would not have made that shot. Gallinari can guard small forwards.

I was freaking out at how well Gallo was guarding him. He was actually getting in his head a little.

I can't wait to see what Gallo can do come next season.

Imagine if Gallo wasnt there. He would of scored 42 instead of 36.......

Gallo was Revis Like on him, Gave KD no room to breathe, moved his feet and used his hands perfectly.

He stripped KD so many time, drew charges and got called for 1 BS foul

That one strip was so clean, total BS call from the officials. Durant is a hell of a player though.

Gallo could take a smelly sh^t on the floor and some of you guys would be complementing him on how wonderful it tastes...

He played a decent defensive game, nothing more, nothing less. There were several times he was beat off the dribble, and he committed a few stupid fouls that hurt us down the stretch. And let's not forget about his defensive rebounding, or lack thereof, which lead to countless second shots by the Thunder that they converted. 3 rebounds from a 6'11 guy... SMH.

Yeah he should have defended Durant and got the rebound as well. Every time he was on Durant he made him work and I don't remember Durant scoring on him late in the 4th or in OT.

His D on Durant was impressive tonight. Single coverage, he gave you everything u can possibly ask for against him.

very very impressed with his defense. he caused at least 3 of durant's 5 turnovers in the game. and contested every single one of his shots

I loved Gallo's defense tonight! He showed what types of players he does best guarding, and also which ones bother Durant.

There was very little boxing out tonight from anybody on the Knicks roster. Gallo included.
