Atl @ Utah

Post#1 » by jazzfan1971 » Mon Feb 22, 2010 8:41 pm

I'm not excited for this one. After the terrific road trip and the emotional win vs. Portland I'm fully expecting a letdown. And I think the team is a lil tired and beat up anyway.

I'll be very surprised if the Jazz win tonight. I think Memo will have to have a big game.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Winless 17 years in SLC is on the line. I'm still pretty embarrassed about the last game in Atlanta we had against them. Should be close, both teams played away games last night.

Atlanta had a huge letdown last night in Golden State too, so I expect them to bring their "A" game tomorrow for 4 quarters.

Is Kirilenko going to play?

Jazz coming off one of the best games of the season, Hawks coming off the exact opposite. I don't wanna hear any of that "we were tired" **** since both teams are coming off of physically and emotionally draining games. Jazz gotta step it up and take care of business. This is what separates the men from the boys.

Jazz it's not a old team... I mean, only Okur is 30 and he is well-rested.
This kind of "we were tired" it's not like 2002-2003 Jazz with Stockton with 41 and Malone with 40.

Sloan said he might not start Okur tonight depending on if he's worked out and such. We all know how Okur played last time he had a child, hopefully history won't repeat itself.

Well, I hope you are right. I just expect teh Jazz to be flat tonight. It's been a pretty rough patch of scheduling lately.

We'll see. Maybe teh home crowd can instill enough energy.

This will be a difficult game to win versus an athletic 3 point shooting team the Jazz dont match up with that well. DWILL has to play better than last night offensively and with a hyped home crowd, the Jazz pull out a close one.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

I've been expecting the Jazz to lose the last several games and they've proved me wrong each time. So with that said: I expect them to lose tonight.

Atlanta hasn't won in Utah since 1993 and I expect it to continue.

The fact of focus by the Atlanta players right now concerns me and they'll need to dig deep within if they want to win tonight. Utah favored to win by 5.

Meh, I'm not really worried. Atlanta played last night as well, and we're playing at home, don't see how we're not expected to win. Hope Kirilenko plays, but even if he doesn't we should win. If he does, I expect win quite easily.

Kyrylo Fesenko is a game-time decision with a sore wrist after signing autographs for 15 minutes during warm-ups.

Its going to be tough, as its been for a while. Another huge win if the Jazz can take it.

Jazz by 3.
