OKC = Conference Finals this year?

Just wanted to see how far people think this team can go this year. I know this team is incredibly young, but i can realistically see them reaching the conference finals this season. This team has been impressive all year, i see no reason why they cannot carry that in to the post season as well. Bill Russell himself mentioned that age should not be a reason for the young Thunder getting eliminated in the playoffs. This team is for sure my darkhorse in this years playoffs, they have an oppurtunity to make some serious noise this year and for years and i would love to see this team go far. Any thoughts guys?

its possible but there is a serious lack of playoff experience that makes me hesitant

that and this teams interior is liable to get raped

making it past the 1st round would be great but if they really click and green and company manage to do a reasonable job on the bigs then who knows...

Making the playoffs this year = success.

Making the 2nd round this year = great success.

I think that's as far as it can go this year realistically.

Honestly if they ended up with the 3 anything could happen

They would most likely play PHX in the 1st round and that should be a W in 6 games
There is no way OKC could beat Denver in 7 w/out HCA but if they got Dallas as the 2 they might be able to

So yes WCF are possible but very unlikely. And honestly if they did make it to the WCF as the 3 seed, I think Denver has a real shot at beating LAL. How insane would it be to have OKC as the 3 and Denver as the 4 for the WCF w/ HCA.

I think winning two games is going to be a big stretch.

The Thunder have made a living out of beating up on the bottm feeders. And yeah they have beat a couple decent teams this year but they have caught a lot of the better teams missing key players.

Obviously i'd like to see them go far but I don't see them getting past the first round.
