OKC Thunder @ Toronto Raptors 03/19/10

Post#1 » by slick_watts » Fri Mar 19, 2010 8:54 pm

Don't have the time to do a full game thread with the bells and whistles. Suffice to say, it'd be a big disappointment to lose this one, but the way we're playing it's entirely possible.

Hopefully I'll be around when the game's going though I might miss this one.

I really want to see Shakur get some playing time for Weaver.

Raps fan here. Haven't followed you guys in the last few weeks, does that mean you aren't playing as well as the last time you clubbed us? That would be most beneficial

Good game tonight!

nice start
39 first quarter points
have to stop Bargnani, that looks like Il Mago tonight
Why is Derozan starting? He's really awful

you know we're smashing a team when i feel like we've cruised to a 27 point lead.

the game became a 5 on 5 'scrimmage' pretty quick

71 points in the first half on 41.5% shooting from the field.
I dont think I have ever seen anything like this.
Collison, Ibaka and also Krstic are killing on the glass, Kevin is deadly from FT line, Westbrook pushing the ball which leads to fastbreaks and Thunder taking care of the ball with only 2 TOs in the half.

On an additional sidenote: I like what Weaver did so far in this game.

Question: Etan Thomas is dressed on the bench? Will he be in the rotation maybe soon? I always liked his game.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance!

I actually really liked Thomas' game. I thought before Ibaka was getting burn and Collison was DNPing that he was often keeping us in the game for the first 10-15 games. We probably owe 2 or 3 wins to his rebounding and D.

Wow. Didn't get a chance to catch this one. I'm going to watch it now. Someone mentioned Serge had a nice putback jam, so I want to see that..

Weaver made some threes, that's really encouraging.

we dominated them and didn't let up. One of the best performances of the year. IBAKA had a sick dunk almost as good as his one vs Charlotte but not quite and Weaver played a very good game.

Weaver looked great, he kinda looked like Harden out there. :D Hitting the spot up corner three the way Harden hits them, he's filling in perfectly.

Weaver looked great almost like he has been playing all year. Looks like he has extended his range.

Got to love the D league where guys can get game time burn.

Ibaka's put back was pretty sick.

The Thunder purely waxed the floor with TDOT.

Does anyone really think Bosh is going to stay at that train wreck?

Clearly defense is the difference between winning and losing for this team.
