So we've improved considerably on the boards, offensive rebounding is now a huge strength and defensive rebounding isn't as much of an issue. Our offensive efficiency has improved a good bit as well, we abuse the foul line more than almost anyone and our eFG% has increased also and is creeping toward league average. The only thing offensively that hasn't improved much are the turnovers, which continue to kick us in the rear. We're rated 14th in the league by offensive rating which is the first time in the season we've been above league average.
Defensively, as mentioned, we're better on the boards. We've made slight improvements with forcing turnovers and fouling less. Our eFG% allowed has slipped a tiny bit.
Overall I'd say this is a much more balanced team than it was in January. Our offense isn't as plodding as it was, although the turnovers need to come down. Defense has been erratic but we haven't fallen off that much and obviously have some great defensive performances.
I like this progression toward a more balanced team. Hopefully by next season we get the turnovers down, tighten up our defense with another big man, and get a shooter to bolster our %'s.
