I think at times in the preseason roles were clashing and it's going to take a sec before these guys realize where they fit in the offense. At times derozan took control like he was the number 1 here when quite honestly he number 3 behind lavine and vooch. I also felt ball at times wasn't as aggressive offensively as he was the 1st couple of games. He needs to not over pass and keep the defense honest by knocking down a few outside shots early.

I think DeRozan is critical to the Bulls success. The advanced stats say he is the best iso player on the Bulls and the eye test says that as well even tho his jumper wasn't falling in the first half of the Memphis game. I expect to see him getting last shots because he turns it less than Levine, gets to the line more and, well, that's his game. and the Bulls will be a better team for it because LaVine can spot up for open shots when the defense collapses and that suits his game as well.

I’m a Piston’s fan and I’ve been staring at that line since preseason ended.

Sure seems off and then you factor in that Cade is out and other Pistons are banged up.

Maybe, but first game of the year at home, usually the team will bring it. Both teams have a lot to figure out system wise too with new pieces. I don’t find it to be too crazy of a line.
Us Piston fans don't even know what starting lineup will "bring it".

It's been wierd amd confusing for the past several days. Just found out Cade might be ready for the October 30th game against Orlando, and a few hours before the game, no idea who the starters are.

Rough start for the Pistons season, for sure.

I am interested to see how this Bulls team fits together though. Lots of names, it's just going to be about fit.

I miss the good ol days when each GT would be 100 pages long.

If Bulls start off hot and start winning some games, you will see that happen again, especially when Bulls play one of these playoff teams (Knicks, Heat, Nets, Sixers, Lakers, Warriors, etc).

Can't wait for that to happen. I know I will be posting regardless.

Just wait 'til we rack up a couple of wins and the bandwagoners hop on

I'm surprised we haven't seen an influx of Ball brother stans now that we have Zo. I wouldn't be surprised if they show up eventually.
What's to say Lavar doesn't have a secret burner account here now?

Put 10 euros on a Bulls championship today - got 50/1 odds over here in Europe - let's goooooooo!

$10 is paying $600 (60/1) on FD here.

Less than 2.5 hours until our 2021-22 season begins! We've got a handful of (what should be) easy games before some real tests begin. Hopefully the Bulls get off to a good start the rest of this week and gather a bit of momentum before things get tougher.

Here we go!

How about we both get good so we can start hating each other again? Basketball is more fun with rivals

Can't wait for this game to start - this fanbase deserves a season to be excited for. Hell look at all the posters in this thread, the only people still around are the crusty old farts. You're basically a young account if you were made after Obama was elected in these parts.

I think if Lavar had an account here he would announce it with Trumpets and we wouldn't believe him.

I don't know if it's me or the years of disappointment but I am preparing myself for an outlook altering loss.

Likewise, I think our roster is excited and will bring energy to the first game that counts and Detroit's guys are likely not thrilled to start a tanking year. :dontknow:

From what I saw Lebron and the rest of that squad wanted to win BADLY. They just got outplayed. If Klay Thompson is anything close to pre-injury the Warriors are gonna be VERY good.

They went all out and got an otherwordly shooting night from Lebron. And they still came up short. Their defense is atrocious.

I don't disagree. Pants pulled down to me means exposed/embarrassed--I'm not dogging their effort and obviously not Lebron's--love him or hate him--he brings it consistently.

We can be excited and pumped but what if we have some hole or something we obviously didn't see in preseason.
Maybe I'm just paranoid.

Most excited I've been for a season opener since the Rose days, can't wait to see what this team looks like in a real game now.

When I joined Dubbya was in office and the White Sox and Cubs hadn't won a World Series in a very very long time.

Actually I was on basketballboards.net for a couple years before coming over here because there was more activity here. Guess this place won out because there hasn't been a post on their Bulls board in 5+ months

I will be disappointed if we don't win but anything's better than last year's debacle on opening night

Been a fan since 85'. I would love nothing more then to have a return to the rivalry days. I was hoping it would start tonight, with Cade.

*sigh*

Whats a few more days huh?
