Miami is impressively winning games, but I also don't put that much stock in Duncan, Strus and Gabe Vincent just cause they were lighting it up during a month stretch of major COVID disruptions. You look at their schedule, and they've feasted on struggling teams. They whipped us, but we were missing DeRozan, and featured can't-find-the-rim Vuc. I do acknowledge they're a squad stacked with all 3 ingredients: creators, 3Ps and defenders/size. We address all three, but in a less conventional way.
I still think the season is really young. The seeds and stats for the season are all jacked cause of the COVID protocols and injuries. I really don't think Cavs and Grizzlies are as good as their records suggest (though I acknowledge both are strong teams), but good for them, shooting up the standings.
Hawks and Lakers seem they'll inevitably climb up, barre any more set backs. Sixers are still shopping. A few trades can really change the playoff landscape.
