Whoa ... I had no idea the Nets were 0-8 against those teams. Now, I don't take regular-season matchups too much to heart; no Bulls fan who remembers 2011 should. But still, that's kind of amazing.

East playoffs honestly going to be tough after round 1 I think.

Even round 1 could be tough if you're a middle seed

Seeding this year is going to matter more than most years.

If the Bulls get the 1 seed, they get to watch Miami and Philly eliminate one of the other in round 1 and then Brooklyn and Milwaukee do it to each other in round 2.

Not saying the Bulls could definitely beat Miami or Philly in round 2 but sheesh, those middle seeds would have it rough.

No matter what happens, you'd hope the Bulls can win in the 1st round, and regardless of who you play of Brooklyn, Miami, or Milwaukee in the 2nd round isn't going to be easy. If Kyrie still refuses to get vaccinated, I'd might pick Brooklyn of those teams as the one I'd want to go against.

I don't see the seeding as being all that important. Sure you'd like to have homecourt, and maybe there is one particular team you'd like to avoid. But it's hard to know who might be hot come playoff time- it could be a 3rd seed or a 4th seed team.

With this Bulls team, I feel like we are the best team in the conference right now, and can beat any of these other teams if we play our game at a high level. So it doesn't matter who we play- you're going to have a tough match up in the conference finals, and likely in the semi finals as well. So we have to win two series against the likes of BRK, MIL, MIA, PHI. Take your pick. You just have to play whoever is in front of you, and if you're the better team, which I think we are, you should win.

Miami is the #3 seed right now (on a tiebreaker). But your point remains. The #4 and #5 seeds in the East will be good.

I think #1 seed helps a lot, but also… all roads lead to Giannis, Durant, Embiid or Butler. Just gotta keep improving.

and most people would see Chicago as not having the best player in any of those match ups. I feel as if miami and philly will never really get it together this season, just a hunch.

Miami is impressively winning games, but I also don't put that much stock in Duncan, Strus and Gabe Vincent just cause they were lighting it up during a month stretch of major COVID disruptions. You look at their schedule, and they've feasted on struggling teams. They whipped us, but we were missing DeRozan, and featured can't-find-the-rim Vuc. I do acknowledge they're a squad stacked with all 3 ingredients: creators, 3Ps and defenders/size. We address all three, but in a less conventional way.

I still think the season is really young. The seeds and stats for the season are all jacked cause of the COVID protocols and injuries. I really don't think Cavs and Grizzlies are as good as their records suggest (though I acknowledge both are strong teams), but good for them, shooting up the standings.

Hawks and Lakers seem they'll inevitably climb up, barre any more set backs. Sixers are still shopping. A few trades can really change the playoff landscape.

I'm glad to see the ascension of the Bulls this season. With that being said, if you want to get to the Finals, you have to go through who you have to go through.

I don't care if we have a easy route or a tough one, it has to be done to achieve the goal.

What the hell is going on with the Atlanta Hawks?? They look really really bad even when they have everyone healthy and playing.

Also, Clippers are winning enough games to stay in the playoffs/play-in until PG13 comes back. Kudos to them.

The Bulls should be the favorite team of all those people who say they don't like the modern NBA. The Bulls have the most varied offense in the league. Not entirely old style in that they rarely do pure post-ups, but post-ups were staganant and boring. So today's Bulls are like a better version of what was!

Totally agree. Bulls fans need to unite and vote for Lavine (along with DDR). There is no way Harden or Young should be ahead of Lavine this year. Previous years, I would have no problem but when you have a best SG on the best team in the East???

It should be a no brainer. Bulls fans need to up their game. Heck, Brooklyn has Aldridge higher than Vuc - which is also pathetic.
