Because if I learned anything during the FA period, it is that I want to punch somebody in the face everytime I hear or read the word "source".

One more great point made on Mike and Mike.

If LBJ was going to go to Chicago than Bosh would have gone to Chicago. Thus, we won't get LBJ.

This is upsetting but not unexpected. We may very well still land LeBron.

I find it humorous how much Bosh, the least of the Big Three Free was allowed to drive things.

Easy people....Eeeaaaasy..

We still have time and there are still very solid options available to us.

What I can't stand is people already on the front foot, bagging out GarPax and Jerry.

Lets get a few things straight.
-We have NO IDEA what has gone on behind the scenes and during interviews.
-We have no idea what agreements and deals were already in place
-We have little to no idea what has influenced decisions..

For all we know, Garpax have been true beacons of what it is to play and live in Chicago.
For all we know, these guys were all using Chicago to up their asking price.

What we do know is just about sweet FA...apart from the rubbish rumours and reports that come from 'club executives' and 'my brother's friend's uncles' personal trainer's friend'..

At this stage, I feel like us getting Lebron is about as likely as a Soprano's movie....or a reasonable ending to LOST....but it will be fun to hope.

Nick Friedell on ESPN said we are getting ready for the "Carlos Boozer era"

WTF

Not the way I would put it.

Which one? Reddick or Morrow? Both are RFA's....

We still lost that draft pick...

Sun Sentinel reporting Bosh as done

no reason to wait for James

offer boozer and Lee straight away with condition on each offer that it is only valid for whoever accepts first

have them in hand before tomorrow and then move on to Mike Miller

Guys we better hope Lebron doesnt choose Miami or even New York, because if he does, it will be a long long time before we even sniff the second round. I'm still confused, how could you not sell someone on coming to the Chicago Bulls, the team is set to win NOW..isnt that enough? its always about money though..always. The hardest part will be if Lebron went to New York and New York becomes instantly better than us.. *shudder*.

The pessimist in me is waiting for the other shoe to drop. Lee to go to minny, boozer to NJ and bron to NY. The only plus side is that bosh may sign for five years leaving the raptors win nothing.

who ever thought we were getting wade? so months ago we wanted one of bosh, boozer or amare or lee. we still will likely get one.

question: "what is boozers starting max? what is lee's starting max? can we afford that and a max to lebron, or do we need to dump first?

maybe lebron is still coming here, and there was no way to sign bosh and lebron due to the dollars?
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls

This proves that WWW words aren't that trust-worthy any more. He predicted that bosh is going to chicago and he isn't.

Bulls didn't kiss Lebron's ass like New York and Cleveland.

Maybe its time to work on that Gortat/Pietrus deal.

Deng is not that good of a fit here for 4 more years on that deal, regardless of anything else.

I really dont care about Bosh, and I never believed Wade would leave the Heat, it's been pretty obvious (to me at least) that those two were ending up with the Heat

All I care about now is that LBJ doesnt go to the Knicks, and if we are choosing between Boozer and Lee we end up with Boozer and add a shooter. First goal is obviously Lebitch though.....anywhere but the Knicks I beg you

Guys, calm down... this is not surprising. CB always wanted to go to Miami, that much was obvious. And even those of us on these forums knew Wade was never serious about Chicago. That said, it is of course dissappointing. We all got our hopes up for the next dynasty, and now that appears to be unlikely.

But, sometimes being a fan isn't always about having a dynasty. Yes, I concede it would have been awesome to win multiple championships and watch Bosh and/or Wade/Lebron demolish other teams, but wouldn't it be more satisfying to see us win a title with DRose as the leader and Joakim playing the emotional leader role? Lebron will always belong to Cleveland, just as Wade will to Miami since he won a title there. But Rose and Noah are ours. And how much fun would it be to watch them develop and grow and win a championship together.

That said, we still have a lot of improving to do. Step one is to sign Boozer/Lee. That solidifies the PF spot and puts Taj on the bench, playing 20 minutes a night, where he belongs. Step two is to go out and get shooters. Yes, PLURAL. If we sign Boozer for, say, $14 million/year, we'll still have almost $16 million remaining. That should be enough to get two shooters and fill out the bench. My preference is to pursue Korver and Morrow. If we can't land either of those two, try for Ray Allen or Mike Miller, both of whom will be over-priced.

Boozer
Deng
Noah
Rose
Morrow

With a bench of Taj, JJ, Korver.

Pretty solid.
