QBs seem to become better with age, Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Big Ben, Cousins, Stafford all became better after turning 30. Plus there sends to be a trend with QBs playing into their late 30's so on the short side he has 4 years of elite status left and 2 yrs of very good given the trajectory of the fore mentioned QBs
Sorry, I did not know his injury history or follow his career other than superficially, I skimmed a post without my glasses that I thought was about Wilson but it was about Watson. But as he takes his first snap as a Bear he will be 33. As a qb who features mobility as his main tool, that window you speak of is questionable how much compensation it is worth. If it was Watson that would make more sense with the majority of his career in front of him. I am all in on trading up in this draft, or just using a bridge QB until we can draft one. Certainly no selling the farm for a pipedream shortcut.
