Sounds like those offers may be too rich for the Bulls to match?

God I hope so. You guys can have him at 20 mil per year. Maybe we can work out a sign and trade though. You guys can have Lavine if we can have Fox and Hield. Deal?

Let's pursue a sign and trade. Does Zach for Top 10 protected 1st round draft pick, Buddy Hield, Justin Jackson, Harry Giles + filler like Iman Shumpert and Kosta Koufos work? Can we work De'Aaron Fox into this deal as well? I mean this is Zach Lavine we're talking about... the SG of their dreams.

Kings counter with Justin Jackson, Skal Labissiere, Iman Shumpert, and 2 2nds.

Bulls aren't matching $20. Hopefully they don't match $17. Have fun with him.PetrieUnderstudy wrote:TheJordanRule wrote:PetrieUnderstudy wrote:Kings fan here coming in peace. I'm assuming you're joking. The Kings want LaVine to play in the backcourt along side Fox and Buddy as super 6th man. After the Kings offering George Hill $19 million per year last year I can see them easily offering $20 to LaVine. The ball will be in the Bulls court to match. I'd also assume they're open to S&T but it wouldn't include any of the young core. You could have Jackson, Labissierre, Shumpert's expiring and some 2nd's but nothing beyond that. We'd just wait to see if you'd eat up your space to match at $20/per.

Ralph is the ultimate insider when it comes to these things. I believe Ralph when he says we will or won't do something. I'm discouraged by the fact that the FO is this high on Zach. He's a premium prospect but you don't give a draft pick type player 20 mil per year. If Zach is matched, I'll be hoping that he lives up to the contract. Betcha Zach falls far short of providing that kind of value though.
