With the Bulls there are less assumptions. Rose and Noah for sure will be there and IF you add Lebron you can compete in the East. Knicks, HEAT, and Nets fans are all ASSUMING. The Nets and the Knicks rosters are not as impressive as the Bulls and the HEAT without Wade is trash.

I don't even know why people talk about the Knicks being a destination for Lebron anymore. Lebron isn't going to go to a team with absolutely nothing to offer talent wise. Even if Bosh would join him that team isn't going to be a title contender anytime soon. As much as people keep saying the Nets have a nice core to build from, that's not true. The fact is, that so called "Core" won 12 games last year. There not as good as people think they are. Devin Harris is an average NBA player, and Brook Lopez is probably the only guy that could be a consistent All Star. Chances are they won't get John Wall because they wont get the #1 pick. How many times have we seen the team with the best % to land the 1 pick not get it? I hope, for our sake that both NJ and NYK both get screwed in the lottery to put the Lebron talk to rest.

The Bulls are the best option for Lebron if he wants to win a championship in the near future. He's only 25 years old and he'd be joining a very young core of talent with DRose and Joakim Noah. You add Lebron to the Bulls and we are already a title contender. If thee ultimate pipe dream comes true and were somehow lucky enough to land both Lebron and sign and trade for Bosh, you can just give us the next 5 titles haha.

The heat are also a pretty good option if they can resign Wade. I see the Heat as the only contender for Lebron between us and of course Cleveland. Wade and Lebron would be scary and Beasley could wind up feasting off being the #3 option. I still think we are the best option because of our youth. Wade is 29 and he's probably got about 3-4 great seasons left in him before he goes downhill.

I like Gallinari but can anyone honestly tell me why Peja-lite is being hyped up there so much? What happened to the Wilson Chandler is a future perennial all-star hype?

What's incredibly stupid is people continue to argue one point against a team and fail to realize what they DO offer that other teams can't offer. For example, this is what I would say each team offers:

New York Knicks
-Ability to play in NY, possibly the best way to be a "hero" in a city

Cleveland Cavaliers
-History there, unfinished business

Chicago Bulls
-Of the teams on July 1st, can offer the most proven team to be apart of

Miami Heat
-Can offer the best player to play with LeBron

New Jersey Nets
-Can offer a really deep "on paper" team of possibly Harris/Wall, Lopez

There are three arguments I just won't listen to
1. MJ's shadow
2. NY as a major city market advantage
3. Miami income tax
...

We're definitely more humble than Knicks fans, but it seems to end there.

I agree. There is a "anyone who suggest LeBron shouldn't be a Bull is a tool-anyone who does speaks the gospel" type sentiment. Same goes with people who prefer Westbrook, Lopez, etc over Rose. I mean this board has a consensus to it and people ride it. You differ from that, you're an idiot/tool/etc

sometimes its the way people present there argument

I'll buy that. It's definitely not a one sided argument and LeBron's choice will reveal a lot about his real motivations in the upcoming weeks.

The motivation of "hero to the City" re : the New York option is so incredibly pee wee.

Go to the place where you have the best immediate and long term chance to win multiple title and you will end up being a hero to the World.

Yes ...the World.

Y'know that thing that exists outside of New York

Pretty sure I read Renaldo Balkman is Dennis Rodman comparisons before. One poster also described Gallinari as a mixture between Dirk and Scottie PIppen, with a better winning factor. Can't make this up.

Carrying on from the Simmons article and the suggestion that that the Vito Corleone move is to demand the trade for Yi ...

I guess the Tom Hagen move would be for Gar to carry out Team Lebron's instructions and offer up James Johnson for Yi and when the Nets refuse, leave a severed horse's head in their front offce and then obtain Yi for "future considrations"

MJ won 6 rings in Chicago and he became a basketball icon around the world.

Kobe won championships in LA and now he's the face of the NBA around the world.

All LeBron has to do is win championships. If he does that, he'll be the new basketball icon in the world. The difference between Chicago and New York in terms of market is not that much. MJ won in Chicago and he became known worldwide.

I believe MJ after 7 yrs have won a ring with the Bulls. LeBron is already behind the pace. So if he wants to be the GOAT, he should probably start winning championships soon and build a dynasty. The only team that can provide him that would be the Bulls. New Jersey is still young and at least a few more yrs away from winning. New York is still missing a ton of pieces. Miami, outside of Wade, lacks talent and role players imo. They're also older than the Bulls.

Rose, Noah, and Deng are still young. LeBron can grow with them and win championships. The Bulls, w/o LeBron, are a playoff team. With a new (and better) coach, along with Rose and Noah's development, the Bulls could be a 50-win team next year w/o LeBron. Add LeBron, some shooters and bigs, and we'd be legit contenders for many yrs to come.

Lebron has been in the league seven years, he's not looking to grow with anyone. Half of his career is gone and his decision this summer will decide what kind of accomplishments he will have in his career. He wants to win now. He's not gonna look at the Bulls and say "what a nice young prospect Westbrook east is", he's thinking "what do I do to dominate the league?"

Given he maybe want a 3rd year opt out on a 5 year deal that may push Miami alittle ahead for the short term

Imagine LeBron coming to the Bulls and the media/fans always comparing him to Michael Jordan.

If LeBron doesn't succeed the way MJ did.....he will always hear about how MJ did it and how he couldn't.

If LeBron wins a championship with the Bulls....he will hear about how MJ did it 6 times.

We all know that his name will always be mentioned with MJ. No matter how good or how bad he does. Obviously this will happen more if he played for the Bulls.

Wouldn't he get sick and tired of that sh*t?
