With the Bulls there are less assumptions. Rose and Noah for sure will be there and IF you add Lebron you can compete in the East. Knicks, HEAT, and Nets fans are all ASSUMING. The Nets and the Knicks rosters are not as impressive as the Bulls and the HEAT without Wade is trash.
I don't even know why people talk about the Knicks being a destination for Lebron anymore. Lebron isn't going to go to a team with absolutely nothing to offer talent wise. Even if Bosh would join him that team isn't going to be a title contender anytime soon. As much as people keep saying the Nets have a nice core to build from, that's not true. The fact is, that so called "Core" won 12 games last year. There not as good as people think they are. Devin Harris is an average NBA player, and Brook Lopez is probably the only guy that could be a consistent All Star. Chances are they won't get John Wall because they wont get the #1 pick. How many times have we seen the team with the best % to land the 1 pick not get it? I hope, for our sake that both NJ and NYK both get screwed in the lottery to put the Lebron talk to rest.
The Bulls are the best option for Lebron if he wants to win a championship in the near future. He's only 25 years old and he'd be joining a very young core of talent with DRose and Joakim Noah. You add Lebron to the Bulls and we are already a title contender. If thee ultimate pipe dream comes true and were somehow lucky enough to land both Lebron and sign and trade for Bosh, you can just give us the next 5 titles haha.
The heat are also a pretty good option if they can resign Wade. I see the Heat as the only contender for Lebron between us and of course Cleveland. Wade and Lebron would be scary and Beasley could wind up feasting off being the #3 option. I still think we are the best option because of our youth. Wade is 29 and he's probably got about 3-4 great seasons left in him before he goes downhill.
