Ware is a future All Star. He's what Mitch Rob would have been without constant injuries and a better shot. Stud.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

One of the problems baseball players have injury wise is the entire game you're going zero to 60, on the bases, in the field. Now basketball players are going zero to 60 on close outs and in transition more then at any time in the history of the sport. That type of acceleration is a catalyst for lower body soft tissue strains.

I don't know what the NBA is gonna do, moving the line out further even makes it worse.

I thought Miami might struggle a bit without Butler (plus Herro has been out with an injury), but no....they continue to be a solid team. Ware was a great pick (where they got him) and the trade for Norman Powell was a good move.

Davion Mitchell has been good for them too.

A few players this season have been a surprise (because they've bounced around the league).

Today these three did well.

Trendon Watford: 19 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, a steal and a block.

Jordan Goodwin: 15 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal.

Collin Gillespie: 15 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists and a steal.

Ryan Rollins fits on this list too, even though he didn't play today (I know some of you already knew who he was previous to this season, but his improvement is a bit of a surprise to most people).

Obviously, I am not saying he will be *that* good, but he's the same style of player. Strong, big, & slow, with superlative skills, creativity, and vision. He's a blast.

Um we messed up lol. I never was against drafting Queen but like 90% of the board was like helllllll no. He’s averaging 25/8/8 in 31 mpg over his last two. There was your center of the future right there.

I can't argue with that. However, as the implication no doubt is that "we should do better than Billy," the problem is that there is only one Spoelstra/Riley/Heat. No other organization routinely turns late-round draft picks and summer signings into a competitive NBA squad. So, it's not as if you can go out and find guys who do that, unless you hire from within the Heat. (Which might be a good idea.)
