I think they actually thought this team would win enough games to make the playoffs. Or at least hoped they would.

I agree..pick a lane and go for it. In this case keep the pick and rebuild.

The version of the Bulls to start the season did have a chance to win enough games to make the playoffs. Fast pace, share the ball, tons of 3s. They've gone away from all of that completely to whatever this is, and without the defense, they're just not gonna be able to score enough to beat anybody. Right now, every team knows that if they just attack the basket, they'll probably go to the line (a lot) and win the game.

I'm not sure why they went away from that. Maybe teams figured them out a bit?

The reality is that it's not a good team and the front office needs to move in a new direction.

Boy as a blazer fan does this statement resonate with me. Best of luck this season, hopefully both teams figure out where they are supposed to go at some point

At least the trade chatter some what woke Pat up, I guess.

Giddey should have been benched earlier tonight, but just a couple of games ago vs the Pels he had 13 rebounds & 12 assists, 4 steals and a block. Plenty of hustle and impact on that game. He'll have good & bad games.

Patrick hasn't shown a pulse all season and there isn't much reason to glue Buzelis to the bench in favor of him.

They already have the numbers for the season, so now they just gotta keep playing starter minutes and stay healthy.

This is not what was happening. They weren't trying to tank, they were test driving whether or not the team could be solid in the playoffs and now there is a ton of evidence that they can't and they will trade off Vuc-Craig-Ball? and Carter and possibly Giddey at this point.

Lavine stays because they can't get what they want for him in a trade and he speeds up the rebuild.

Thank you.

I'm not sure what the Blazers front office is like, but the Bulls FO has been stubborn and generally refuses to rebuild.

Zach isn’t going anywhere. Vuc is probably gone, but our FO is bad so you never know.

Honestly I dont mind Giddey playing poorly. I want to bring him back regardless, and if he tanks his value on a contract year, then that's great for us.

It wasn't a sustainable strategy. The defense is the worst in the business, and Giddey doesn't shoot well enough to be a part of that chuck offense. With the streaky way Pat, Vuc and Coby shoot, and with no shooting specialists on the bench, we're suited to be a tank job with high-pace 3P offense, not the championship Warriors.

I still think that "thanks to it", we'll win the odd game here and there that we wouldn't have won last year. With this losing streak, we're coming back to earth (expected standings), but for a while there, we were atleast 4 games above Vegas odds.

It's not easy root for Billy D. I think he's a great coach, but this seems like a mismatch.

I think the box score tells it all. Your starting power forward collected just three rebounds while theirs grabbed 12. Bulls lost this game not based on shooting, turnovers or free throws but simply because the other team had additional shooting opportunities.

Let’s keep our pick. I don’t care about winning anymore. The wheels are falling off. We will be 10 games under .500 very soon. What happened to this team?

Zach and Vuc are the only two players you can count on to not have completely awful games. The rest are a crapshoot. I think AK should be fired. He failed. Period.

Billy is guy. He should not be reassured of any type of future.

There are coaches that actually won championships and had less rope given.

I thought this was going to be a big Patrick game because of the first 90 seconds. Then he didn't score again for the next 45 minutes until the game was over. He's such a weird guy.

I said somewhat. And yes, for someone that has been comatose all season long it is.
