Spurs fan here, but a huge Lebron fan also. Why does it matter how the GM's rate who they think is the most clutch player at the beginning of the season???

Majority of the GM's make so many mistakes in their own personnel, I'm sure they are the end all be all for all answers relating to opinions. As of this point in the season, Lebron has been clutch for the Cavs in the 4th quarter.

Also....I don't understand how everyone keeps proclaiming Kobe to be the best player in the world.

Look at LBJ and then look at Kobe... LeBron *IF HE WANTED TO* could get 40, 50 any game he wanted to by forcing his way into the paint/line etc...

We would probably lose 40-50 games if he played that way, but make no mistake about it, if the kid wanted to attack the basket on every possession or get into the paint, he could...And by doing so, would put up off the charts scoring numbers nightly..

Considering that LeBron has only taken more than 30 shots 2or3 times this season. I don't think you have a leg to stand on with your speculation that LeBron was attempting to go for 50 points. To say that was his goal and then say that he came up short is just silly and without any reasonable basis in fact.

It is not a claim. Much like Lebron fans not acknowledging Lebron's words. It is sillier to speculate what he is not saying.

Your statement isn't true. Consider that in Eastern Conference you only play teams from the West twice a year and your Eastern opponents 3 and 4 times. Consider that the Western Conference teams beat up on each other all year and have to play each other 3 and 4 times. The Cavs get to play the weaker opponents all year and right now with their current record against mostly East opponents, their W-L record still only puts them 10th in the West. That speaks volumes to me. Playing against mostly Eastern opponents his team still doesnt make it in the West. If they played mostly West opponents where would their record be then? At least where it is now, but likely 12th-15th.

LeBron James is the single most dominant player in the NBA. I am a Cavaliers fan, so it can be argued that I am biased, but let the record speak for itself: LeBron puts up numbers that no NBA player has managed since Oscar Robertson (the four game stretch of 30/12/11). He has put-up single game performances that hasn't been seen in 35 years (50 pts, 8 rb, 10ast). He is the youngest player to accomplish every feat, breaking records that Kobe previously held, a year earlier than Kobe.

Total dominance? LeBron James is 6'9 260 (according to him), he has played, and guarded EVERY position this season. What other player can claim that? Can any even claim 4 of the 5? He is the only SF I have seen back down Dwight Howard.

People say he doesn't play defense that well. I disagree. When the Cavaliers played the Lakers, who guarded Kobe in the 4th quarter - and shut him down? That's right, LeBron! And who guarded LeBron? Kobe. But did HE shut LeBron down? No.

I use Kobe Bryant here because he is the person that is considered the best scorer in the game... yet LeBron guarded him during crunch-time. If he can shut-down the default best scorer in the league, then how can anyone say he isn't a good defender?

Add to all of this that he turned 23 years old just a couple months ago, and how can anyone not be convinced that LeBron is the single most dominant force in the league?

People point to Kobe Bryant as the best scorer. And I cannot deny that his shot is prettier than LeBron's and he makes some seemingly magical shots. However, LeBron shoots a higher percentage than Kobe, and if he took less jump-shots and drove the lane more, his percentage would rise dramatically.

In conclusion, LeBron does things that not even Michael Jordan accomplished in his illustrious career; He has gone head-to-head with the best big men and the best guards in the league, yet always seems to come out on top. When he is in the All-Star game (every year), he is the guy that the coaches run their offense through. When LeBron is on the court, he is the MAIN focus of the opposing defense, regardless of who else in on his team. That, in itself say everything that needs to be said: LeBron is the best.
