I actually like Gilbert because he's homer and yes there are national media that are completely anti Cleveland.

Good 1st half.

The Wallace/Z combo makes our interior defense pretty nasty. Consider that we don't even Varejao back....and how well Joe Smith has played...that is some serious depth in the front line.

I have been pleased with Delonte's defense early, but I could see where we might have some issues against teams with a star wing scorer. We need Sasha back.

Overall, there isn't much to complain about from that half other than a sloppy stretch passing the ball. Which we all kind of expected with this being the first game with limited practice for the new guys. Zydrunas played excellent, double-double in the first half(13 and 10). Joe Smith and DJ both coming off the bench hitting their open shots. West and Wally have been off, but suprisingly good defense from both. LeBron with 14-5-4 in less than normal playing time. I'm sure he's loving that. Ben with a few turnovers, but a solid half for him too. Devin playing his all around game. Just an awesome show so far.

Don't ignore Dwayne Jones when talking about our interior defense. The challenges everythin that goes up as have Z and Wallace. It definitely makes it difficult trying to convert on the interior.

Can't wait to see Andy join this group, hopefully on Tuesday. And imagine adding Andy, Sasha AND Boobie to the mix. So deep.

13 turnovers in the first half. That's a games worth. We really should be up by 30.

Can we please guard JCN a little more?

JCN has a quirky game. I like it but it'd be hard to guard.

This is why I didn't like how we were playing like it was garbage time in the first half. Can't let teams like this stick around. They've chipped 4 points off of our lead.

Not a good start to the third, glad we got out to that huge lead. I'd like to see us post up Zydrunas now. See how we work off of that.

We need to make them pay for gambling on the take outs.

i don't mind them being homers but complaining about what the national media said about the trade for the entire 2nd quarter gets old fast, and puts your mind out of the game at hand.

Big Ben doesn't need to be any kind of shooter if he keeps getting these WIDE open dunks :)

I agree with what you're saying. I think in most games where it's out of hand for awhile. The announcers just talk about anything and everything that comes to mind. Now that Gilbert is off the set, you can see AC/McCloud are actually discussing the action.
