Good 1st half.
The Wallace/Z combo makes our interior defense pretty nasty. Consider that we don't even Varejao back....and how well Joe Smith has played...that is some serious depth in the front line.
I have been pleased with Delonte's defense early, but I could see where we might have some issues against teams with a star wing scorer. We need Sasha back.

Overall, there isn't much to complain about from that half other than a sloppy stretch passing the ball. Which we all kind of expected with this being the first game with limited practice for the new guys. Zydrunas played excellent, double-double in the first half(13 and 10). Joe Smith and DJ both coming off the bench hitting their open shots. West and Wally have been off, but suprisingly good defense from both. LeBron with 14-5-4 in less than normal playing time. I'm sure he's loving that. Ben with a few turnovers, but a solid half for him too. Devin playing his all around game. Just an awesome show so far.

I agree with what you're saying. I think in most games where it's out of hand for awhile. The announcers just talk about anything and everything that comes to mind. Now that Gilbert is off the set, you can see AC/McCloud are actually discussing the action.
