Please take this with whatever grain of salt you need to. I am not a scout, but I was at the game last night in Jacksonville for Woody's last rehab start. His fastball seems to be at least 3 mph slower and was having trouble locating the zone with it. I also know he was having a bit of trouble with umpire. The catcher challenged a few calls last night. So it might not have been all Woody, but I can tell you, he did struggle a bit. Especially early. His slider was also a bit slower than I remember at about 91-92. His change up looked pretty good at about 84.
Please take this with whatever context you need to.
Also, Perkins looked good. Missed a diving catch that would have saved runs. But his approach looked good and he looked fairly good in the OF. Bobby Dalbec looked very good. Very Good. Very disciplined at the plate.
