Offical Draft Thread.
Well this thing is tommorow, going to be televised. I have no exams and I don't have to go to school tommorow so I'll probably watch it. Post your insights in here about who we should draft and who to avoid. We have the 7th pick. Go Brewers.

If he falls to 7 because of money Matt Wieters.
My board for who will most likely be there.
1. Mike Moustakas
2. Rick Porcello
3. Daniel Moskos
4. Jarrod Parker
5. Casey Weathers

In general going for High School pitchers can be really risky (though the Brewers went with Jeffress last year). Seems like since they won't have 2nd round pick they should swing for the fences and go for the top bat. The MLB draft is such a crapshoot but if they really feel strongly about a guys talent, I have faith in the Brewers scouting which has been pretty good in the past 5 years. But if they have guys rated pretty close than you have to consider "signability" since they aren't the yankees/dodgers.

Moustakas, Weiters or Porcello. I'd love either one....and, considering we don't have our second round pick, I don't think you'll se the Brewers hesitate to open up their wallet. They've got some cash to burn, so you might as well use it on a big time palyer, particularly if he can be in the majors soon (aka Weiters).

Also of note in that if the guy you pick doesn't sign, you get an additional pick after that next season. So if you take Weiters and he doesn't sign, we're looking at an additional top 10 pick next year.

"an additional top 10 pick"
don't you mean a top 10 pick. they wouldn't have two unless they tanked like the bucks.
