btw, that lexus LS is ONE SERIOUS CAR...truly a beauty
It's HUGE. The problem for me is that it drives huge. The 745, never drove huge. It felt small and nimble. The LS is nice, but it's no 745. In any case, it's not for me to drive. It's my father's and he is in his late 50s and wants comfort. It provides comfort in spades. So for him it's great. He said how he did the sports car thing and doesn't care anymore. He told me about his "backpacking" trip through Europe, and it consisted of renting one high end supercar after another and driving on the autobahn with friends back in the early 70s. Sounds like my kind of backpacking.
The fuel delivery system was on multiple cars but it still was an issue. The key problem is that there has been a noise increase in the car with it. Obviously with a car like the LS, cutting down as much ambient noise as possible, so this hurts that. By the way, I know my LS has never parked itself, it sounds cool but it just takes too long. I can parallel park in 30-45 seconds, this takes like 5 minutes. Living in LI, I don't need to parallel often but if imagine 5 minutes to parallel park on some NYC street. It would be a nightmare. -Jitpal
