Can't wait to see the Dice-K/Ichiro matchup on Wednesday.

What a joke. This has the potential to badly screw over both teams if they have to make these games up at the end of the year.

Didnt feel it was neccessary to create a new thread for one game, so lets bring this one back.

Anyways, another exciting (and tense) game for the M's, but we came out on top. Bullpen really wasn't too spectacular tonight, but I guess you cant get on their case for having a stinker every once in a while.

Man, Raul Ibanez went bonkers tonight. 2 homers, a triple, double, and 5 rbi's. :o He was totally great for us, and Lopez came up with a big 2-out homer as well.

Its our fifth straight win where we only won by 1 run. Oh yeah, 8 games over 500, baby! :D

Despite the numbers, Morrow scares the hell out of me. He got squeezed by the umps a couple times, but he's young and out of control.

Behold, the rebirth of Raul Ibanez. One game isn't enough, but he seems to be performing at a much higher level over the past few weeks.

I'm still wondering where that 1-2 pitch to Sizemore missed. :nonono:

I agree though, and have been saying it since Morrow has been with us. He's got live stuff and is nasty, but his control is an issue. Comes with being young, I guess.

Another great win I'm starting to believe in this team!

Paul Byrd deserved to get smacked around after all that stupid "vendetta" talk. Yeah, you did great in April and it sucks that you had it taken away from you, and I guess you can be all proud that you'd have a no-hitter with an asterisk (a loooooong way away from a "real" no-hitter, the kind that top pitchers get), but mainly you should just shut up and pitch.
