Didnt feel it was neccessary to create a new thread for one game, so lets bring this one back.
Anyways, another exciting (and tense) game for the M's, but we came out on top. Bullpen really wasn't too spectacular tonight, but I guess you cant get on their case for having a stinker every once in a while.
Man, Raul Ibanez went bonkers tonight. 2 homers, a triple, double, and 5 rbi's.
He was totally great for us, and Lopez came up with a big 2-out homer as well.
Its our fifth straight win where we only won by 1 run. Oh yeah, 8 games over 500, baby!

Paul Byrd deserved to get smacked around after all that stupid "vendetta" talk. Yeah, you did great in April and it sucks that you had it taken away from you, and I guess you can be all proud that you'd have a no-hitter with an asterisk (a loooooong way away from a "real" no-hitter, the kind that top pitchers get), but mainly you should just shut up and pitch.
