yeah but wally is way too expensive imo i would prefer wilkins
here is the part from the article in where i read that they want to get rid of those:

maybe Elson is a possibility as well but it won't happen.

The Spurs don't make many major moves, but they are looking to deal Francisco Elson.
The SuperSonics have had enough of their French connection and are offering Johan Petro and Mickael Gelabale. Seattle also would like to move Wally Szczerbiak and Damien Wilkins.

i think with kidd on the mavs there is no room for terry.
just playing behind kidd wouldn't give him enough minutes and he is too small to be a SG next to kidd.
we need someone bigger at the 2 and a pg who doesn't have to get many minutes like watson. i think he's fine with 15-20 minutes and he can pass the ball very well
with wilkins we get a versatile shooting guard who has no problem coming off the bench if avery wants him to do so.
petro is a great young guy with similar style compared to diop.
he is very young and has some time to grow.
look at this
none of our centers can do that

on the offensive end yes - no to the defensive end
Actually having Kidd will help Terry on defense. Kidd can cover (and is probably better now) SG's and JET can defend most PG's. Where Dallas will run into trouble is covering quick penetrators at PG who draw fouls.
Unfortunately, that is what the West is stacked with at present.
10:20 (pm, 6/29/06) The Mavs take Maurice Ager at No. 28... Ager walks up to the stage in a triple-breasted, oversized beige suit, goes to shake hands with Stern and immediately gets whistled for a foul on Dwyane Wade.

Nuke, It's not if Avery plays him - it's if he's available to be played. Right now as the trade goes through, we have no one available to be played. That is what is alarming.
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

What about Mel Ely from NO. He is not going to set the world on fire, but we do have some history of picking up big men from Byron Scott and making something useful of them...
