Well in general you're right. Trading ANY player is not hard, in that regard, probably any of us here would be able to do it. But problem is, finding the RIGHT player or the right deal coming back to you.
THJ+Green could probably net a good result but they also absolutely need to replace Maxi, so that means getting back another PJ type of player without having draft capital. If Hardy can make a huge step next year then Mavs could in theory focus only on wings but i'm not sure. He has shown flashes in these playoffs but still feels incredibly raw to take the next step.
Mavs core is basically set for years. Luka, Gaff, PJ, Lively, DJJ?, then huge question is Kyrie and how fast will he regress. If that goes faster than expected, then searching for that Nr2 option will be even harder. Mavs future looks great but on the other hand also very scary.
