I'm not keen on trading for a 21 year old who's already had TJ (seriously, we have enough of those

), despite how good his stuff is. I don't want any part of a 26 year old who's value is at an all time high, projects as a #4 or #5 starter, and in my opinion will get killed in the AL East. Even Brown who's considered their best positional prospect is in A ball and is nearly 22 years old. Am I the only one who isn't infatuated with Drabek, Happ, or Brown? Top to bottom, the Phillies farm system is overrated. Don't get me wrong, I like Drabek but not as much as others considering he's only been good for half a season in AA ball. In my opinion, the real stud of the Phillies system is Taylor. He's absolutely ripping the cover off the ball in AAA and stealing bases at a very good rate as well. From everything I've read and heard about him, he's a Rios/Wells clone (which in years past would be a great compliment, not so much this year

). I know I'm going to get ripped for this, but I'd rather have Carrasco than Happ in a deal. Carrasco's value is at an all time low and Happ's is at an all time high. Buy low, sell high. That's why I want Carrasco who was the Phillies top prospect less than 6 months ago. Knapp would be a great addition too, he's had arm problems as a starter, but in my opinion his future is in the pen.

for Halladay is what it's gonna take. Anything less and JP can say see you later. In my opinion, we can contend with a rotation of Halladay, Romero, Marcum, Cecil, and Richmond. Snider and Arencibia have been absolutely tearing the cover off the ball lately too, so they good provide some much needed pop. Everythings going to have to go right, but if it does we can compete. That includes Wells and Rios getting back to their all star form and Hill and Lind maintaining it. As much as I hate to say it, the latter is less likely.
