Contrary to what club announced earlier, Morrow's injury does not appear to be a day-to-day thing at all. It sounds quite severe.

Farrell on Morrow: "We'll get a better read on his condition after further tests are done tomorrow but I think at this point... (1of2)

...it's safe to say it's probably substantial in terms of what he's dealing with right now." #BlueJays (2of2)

Morrow said he felt "a stabbing in my side" on first pitch to Harper, threw through it on second pitch, knew he had to stop after third.

Morrow: "I don't know what happened. I felt it, and that's it."

Morrow said he's never had this kind of injury before; "felt fine" between starts, in bullpen and through first 8 pitches tonight.
Sounds like a Final Destination sequel. The baseball gods didn't get him with the line drive off his shin, so they went after him again - in the first inning.
Oblique injuries seem like Toronto's new sexy sports injury. Jerryd Bayless was also knocked out of the season by an oblique tear.
