I beileve the stat is based on pts per 100 posessions while that player is on the court. So being that the Clippers/Bulls are top defenses, and they both play big minutes, they benefit individually from being on great team defenses. Its one of those cases where you have to look at each player to make a determination if its really individual or team success. In Drummonds case, its clear by watching him that our defense is good
because of him, and not that he has good stats because he's on a great team defense.
Boozer/Griffin are more the beneficiaries of playing next to Noah/Jordan. Like when Moose starts to play big minutes next to Drummond, he will probably be high up on that list too. But Drummond is clearly the man responsible.
Chandler's offensive rating is probably high because he plays big min with Carmelo/Kidd.
