Lmao I read your **** comment earlier about Monroe but I couldn't say anything because I hadn't watched the game. Saw the 12AM rerun and now I know you're talking out of your ass.

in other news, the sky is blue.

I have to deal with this guy on another forum too. Sad.

100% genuine agreement, totally agree.

Jackattaq wrote:I used to be very impressed by Monroe's post-up game; but lately, he's been a mess. He's forcing things, whining to the officials EVERY play and turning over the ball A LOT. I'm not impressed by him lately, he needs to play smarter ball. He's fumbling the ball way too much. Every time of late that he puts the ball on the floor, he's either getting stripped or mis-dribbling the ball. He's not even getting good shots with his back to the basket. His lack of athleticism is painfully obvious. He doesn't finish at the rim very well because he can't JUMP. Even though he's a decent FT shooter, he's not going to get calls from the officials when all he does is bark at them and wait for a call, just ask DeMarcus Cousins.

At least Kentavious has shown some life the past couple games. He's knocked down a few shots, hope he can keep it up.

His turnovers are actually down from last year.

but dont let facts get in your way.

Well if they are down, I'd hate to see them when they are up. A lot of the turnovers he's involved in don't even count against his stats. He had a nice lob pass given to him on a post entry pass but he wasn't athletic enough to get to it, so it's a turnover on the guard passing it into the post. He fumbles AWAY so many passes to him inside, again the turnovers count against the passer because he never had possession. He's just an oaf out there. If you want a max contract you can't be getting T's while on the sidelines then getting another arguing every single call. He's been a huge disappointment this year. Too much Jekyll and Hyde and you never know which will show up. Not sure I'd be willing to invest heavily into him when it's time to pony up. I'm liking the idea of a sign and trade with him more and more.

BTW: What games are you watching that makes you think he's been playing good or warranting a good extension?

Dre averages about 1-2 points less than Moose, and does so far more efficiently. He doesn't require any plays ran for him to score either...he gets his points off of lobs, dump offs, and put back dunks/layups. Defensively Dre is leaps and bounds better than Moose. He's a better rebounder, better defender, and more efficient.

Would love to argue against you, but damn that's eye opening.

Hes never been athletic, so why you bringing that up now, thats never been an issue before we got Drum. Drum is a rare breed, most bigs are like Moose.

If he fumbled away so many passes inside, that would show up on stats.

He has 2 technical fouls this year, no clue what that has to do with his contract. & every player in the entire NBA whines.

Multiple teams will offer him a max deal, thats an easy one. Hes a highly skilled 22 year old back to the basket big man, not rocket science.

Yikes

Q00 wrote:Unfortunately his assists are down as well. You could somewhat justify his 3 turnovers per game last year, when he was giving you 4 assists, and it makes some sense that a big man passing that much is then going to have more turnovers than the average big. But now that he's averaging only 2.1 assists and 2.3 turnovers, its not really resulting in a net positive anymore.

His touches are way down so thats obviously where the asst drop off came.
