Not sure what player you're watching if you think Burke is not athletic - he's a very good athlete. His size isn't ideal, but he does have a long wingspan as well as excellent anticipation and a knack for stripping the ball. With his attitude he should be a pretty decent defensive player.

He had a rough night tonight, 1-8 for 3pts and 4ast while Chalmers went 4-7 for 12 and 8 on him, he didn't have much help though.

I didn't know they did a weekly one. Trey Burke is much better than Carter Williams, and KCP is much better than Jr., it is about time some people starting noticing it.

Says the biased Jazz fan. Burke has not had a single game as impressive as MCW and has generally been subpar with a few good games mixed in. MCW offers much more by way of defense, rebounding, passing and even scoring.

The fact that Nate Wolters made this list shows how bad this draft class is.

And he is above KCP. So what does that tell you?

KCP has been a massive let down. There is no doubt. I think Detroit should have went in a different direction. I would have had no problem with the pick if it wasn't in the lotto.

It's quite possible MCW's body will morph into a superhero, but he looks and has been injury prone to me. No matter how grand his splash has been, it's hard to see upside when he's sitting on his bottom.

Oladipo's a freak. Can't say I've truly studied his game in the pros, but he's got a lot more potential than simply a backup - that much I can attest to.

Isn't defense half the game, so isn't KCP the best defender in the draft so far? The offense stats and ability to create highlights takes too much of a precedence. I don't have that active of an imagination, but I can see KCP hitting more of his open threes and midrange shots alone as he builds more experience and execution. Ten years from now, I can't imagine he'll have been the sexy redo draft pick, but I can easily see him following Affalo's career arc. He's pretty good.

From what I have seen, both MCW and Oladipo have shown Elite Defense, thus it is hard to judge who is the best defensive player yet. But, I can say one thing when I watched the double overtime MCW vs Oladipo game which was freaking epic is that MCW and Oladipo have incredible athletic ability. They both can do crazy things on the way to the hoop. Thus, it will be exciting what happens with all this youth if and how they improve over the years including KCP.

Before the draft, my #1 pick was Oladipo, and nothing has changed. He needs to take smarter shots and get that FG% up, but with a little improvement his rookie season is going to look a lot like the rookie season of his best case scenario comp -- Dwyane Wade.

MCW's health issues are a bit concerning. Dude is missing a lot of time. Giannis A has loads of potential, but a lot of skinny dudes get broken in this league, so he's still a risk. KCP plays one side of the ball well so far, but looks to have potential for goodness if not greatness. Adams has potential.

Man, there's a lot of the first round that looks like complete junk. At least we got someone worthwhile.

I knew Nate Wolters would be a steal. Glad we got Tony Mitchell though. He could end up the best player in this draft.
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

I do not want to be a jerk; however, you need to pass me whatever you are smoking. Mitchell can't even touch the floor right now. I would love hear what he has shown you to be the best player in this draft. MCW has clearly played the best.

I still think we're looking at a backup PG in this league and an occasional journeyman starter.

30/7/8 for the career back up. Not bad eh?

So maybe his ceiling is Bruce Bowen? why is that such a bad thing? Two of the Pistons problems are 3 point shooting and defense. So enter KCP.
