Bullock > Meeks
Hey let's not forget how horrific Bullock has been. Has he broken our of his slump and been quite good? Yes. Was he perhaps the worst player on the team before that? Oh yeah.

What worries me about Bullock are his nerves. The worst kind of player any team can have is a high pressure failer. That was on full display when Bullock chocked up on an easy as pie push shot 2 feet in front of the rim in the Raptors game. He started playing much better later in the game but it immediately reminded me of Keith Van Horn. Remember him? Pressure crushed that guy.

Now the two players roles couldn't be more different but if foul trouble strikes he could be called upon and I just trust Meeks more.

Maybe Bullock can change my mind over time, but that's gonna take away.

It's becoming apparent to me now that his play early in the season was just due to not getting enough minutes to settle into a rhythm, and nothing to do with stage fright or anything like that. He was only getting like 5 mpg and 1 FGA. No one can produce in those circumstances. In the preseason he got 20-25 mpg and 4-5 3FGAs, which is about what he's getting now, and he's playing the same against top competition now. So I think he just needs adequate minutes/shots to get his rhythm like most players.
I'm down with this 100%. He has an amazing shot and could be a valuable asset off the bench. If he has indeed turned the corner that makes our lives as fans a hell of alot easier.

Guy is butter when he's on.

I believe he had to earn his minutes over Hilly and failed.

With Stanimal injured he got a shot and has produced so it'll be interesting to see how SVG handles things when SJ is back

Skeptical that he can stay healthy. He's been really unlucky but it is what it is.

I think some of you forgot how bad Meeks is. His floaters made me want to kill myself sometimes. Bullock is probably better because he doesn't try to do too much like Meeks.

Not sure how much of a difference this is or not. We now have WAY better players than last year. If his three is going should open up for others. I liked his game. We will see tho

whitehops wrote:i'm not expecting much from meeks this season, he's only starting to have full practices now after being injured for most of the last two years. he'll likely be out of shape and very rusty - not good news for a player who is small and relies on his shot.

hopefully he can provide some bench shooting down the stretch and come back fully healthy next with a proper offseason. he'd be a welcome addition to the rotation next year.

These two posts adequately express my opinion. The guy has been unlucky and gotten a lot of undue hate on this board. He's going to be rusty and that's probably going to invite more derision. I don't know if he'll ever return to form as a solid NBA player or if he is destined to suffer injury after injury, but there is no reason to trade him away when his value is so low. Either support him and hope he gets back to being a solid contributor next year, or if he gets injured again or ends up not looking like he can help the team after a couple months next year, cut bait.

Honestly even when he was playing ,I dont remember him wowing it out there (besides a couple of games),which was odd because he looked good in LA.

Regaedless I would take him over hillard/bullock,so I hope he comes in and can contribute.

Maybe he'll see enough playing time to obtain another injury.
